1. What kind of brake does the RealRyder ABF8 Stationary Bike use?
With durability and performance in mind, the RealRyder ABF8 utilizes a friction brake, made out of 99.8% wool felt and makes contact with the top of the flywheel.
2. Is it Chain or Belt Driven?
The RealRyder ABF8 Stationary Bike is chain driven in order to provide a natural and smooth peddling experience.
3. Does it have a Free or Fixed Wheel / Direct Drive?
It is a Fixed Wheel/Direct Drive similar to a track race bike and most other indoor cycling bikes on the market.
4. How much does the flywheel weigh?
In order to provide the most realistic ride, the RealRyder ABF8 is proud to introduce the heaviest flywheel in the industry at 66 pounds (30 kg).

The RealRyder ABF8 Stationary Bike is fitted with a custom designed, ergonomic, sweat-resistant handlebar provides comfort, durability, and seven different hand positions. Our bars provide the widest range of hand positions available for reduced fatigue and stress on the hands and wrists.
7. What kind of cleat does it take?
The RealRyder ABF8 is compatible with two-sided SPD®-compatible premium pedals. Versatile design fits the most common cycling shoe cleat system as well as accommodating any standard athletic shoes.
