Sure RealRyder does make great fitness equipment, our stationary bike receives rave reviews wherever it goes, but there is a lot more to the company than that.
One of my first bosses, who became a very good friend, had a favorite expression “You can always judge a man by his friends”. I think this applies to companies as well as people, have you noticed some companies instinctively seem to do the right thing?
I was reminded of this just last week, we had written about a new RealRyder indoor cycling studio – MultiSport Fitness which has just opened in Pennsylvania, who incidentally have a lot of friends, judging by all the positive comments we received! They told me how supportive RealRyder were in getting their studio up and running in record time.

I speak with a lot of the clubs and studios and the feedback about the company and its people is always very positive. RealRyder President – Sean Harrington’s comments on some recent posts give away that customers and distributors are treated as “friends” or “part of the RealRyder family” not just business partners! Terms like “customer service” and “customer care” are thrown around lightly by many of the big faceless corporations, but here at RealRyder they are important and mean something.
Another small but telling example of this, is how questions are dealt with by RealRyder on forums or direct from customers. Typically you will see a full and helpful answer, but then something along the lines of “hope this clarifies/answers, but please contact us if you need more help/info, we want you to be happy/satisfied”. Now contrast that with the multiple choice automated recorded phone messages some companies confuse with customer service!
So the stationary bike is winning fans and the company is making friends, RealRyder really is about more than just great fitness equipment!
