Throughout this blog you will see comments that our stationary bike feels more like a real bike than most stationary bikes or spin bikes. Not just from RealRyder, but from riders who have experienced the difference for themselves.

So who is the bike designed for? Serious outdoor cyclists? Experienced spin class people? What about beginners just starting out? Or slimmers looking to drop some weight?

The short answer is – All of the above!

Just, because our stationary bike was designed to feel more like the experience of riding a real bike doesn’t mean you have to be an expert rider to ride one. Learning to ride a RealRyder is usually a very quick process. We typically hear comments like “it felt a little strange at first”, but people of all levels, even complete beginners are usually comfortable and confident after ten minutes or so.

The benefits of having a stationary bike that tilts and leans are that you will use more muscles during your workout than you would on a regular spinning bike. By using your core and upper body muscles more, you will also burn more calories than you would on a completely stationary bike. Last, but definitely not least you will have more fun!

These benefits apply whether you are trying an indoor cycling class for the first time or you are looking to take your indoor training to the next level! It is also up to you how hard you want to challenge yourself, it is possible to still have fun while you are pushing yourself, but it is not compulsory! You control the resistance, and if you want to chill instead that’s fine to!

So as with most things in life our stationary bike is all about balance!
