As you know we always want feedback from the people who matter to us the most – our customers! So it’s great when we get responses like the following story from someone trying out our stationary bike for the first time.
Just to set the scene. Adam Reid (on your left in our picture) visits the new RealRyder facilities to make sure everything is set up correctly and to train the instructors. Having watched how Adam leads these classes myself, I can verify, he is excellent at getting everybody (instructors and students) comfortable and getting the most from their first rides on a moving stationary bike!
It was following one of these training trips that Adam received an email including this great testimonial!
“My name is Emily Gallagher and I recently took one of your classes at The Club in Morristown, NJ. I am thrilled I had the opportunity to be under your instruction, as I had only one prior ride on the RealRyder bicycles. Not only was your class challenging, but I found it to be engaging and entertaining. Although my comfort was mainly on the standard Spinning bike, I loved that your class took the intensity of my training to the next level. I feel as though too many instructors simply go through the motions of teaching a class just to get it over with. You, however, were passionate and demonstrated your love for riding which made the time fly by.
Thanks again for your class and inspiration! You seem to really love your job.”
I spoke to Emily today and she confirmed that she has been teaching spin classes since last year, but had not ridden the RealRyder stationary bike until she started teaching at The Club at Morristown 2 weeks ago.
Talking about her first ride, Emily added that she had noticed she was using her obliques within the first few pedal strokes and also felt her abs being engaged as soon as she stood. She had also noticed her bars moved much more than on the instructor’s bike when she started, but she soon got used to the new ‘feel” of a stationary bike which moves!
We will be bringing you more about The Club in Morristown in our series “RealRyder Studio Spotlight” and also more about people’s first impressions of our unique stationary bike.
The real message here is that people are quickly won over and become fans of RealRyder, not just the stationary bike, but the company, our people and the whole experience. So excellent job Adam and thank you Emily for sharing your story with us. Welcome to the RealRyder family!
